How we write

Every story answers four questions: what changed, who it affects, what you must do, and by when. Stories are drafted with AI from the regulator's own publication, then checked by an editor against the source before they go live. Every story links to that source.

Compliance Daily is published by Compliance Daily Ltd and is independent. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Ofsted, CQC or any other regulator. Our content is general information, not legal advice.

Data

The inspection tracker uses Ofsted's provider-level statistics and CQC's published ratings, both under the Open Government Licence v3.0, and the Food Standards Agency's ratings API. Children's home names and addresses are not published by Ofsted, so we list homes by reference number.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email info@compliancedaily.co.uk with "Correction" in the subject. We aim to correct mistakes within one working day and note the change on the story.
